St. Joseph's Westgate celebrates eight years
of serving the West Valley

Glendale, Ariz., celebrated the opening St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center in May 2014. The hospital is designed to extend services to the fast-growing patients population in the West Valley, while offering the same level of humankindness provided through our flagship hospital, St. Joseph's in downtown Phoenix.

St. Joseph's Westgate proudly features new approaches to healthcare and utilizes the most innovative materials to promote patient safety, patient satisfaction and medical efficiency. In addition to 23 hospital beds to serve patients, St. Joseph's Westgate is home to two operating rooms, two procedure rooms and an emergency room. 

Throughout fiscal year 2021, the staff of 164 employees oversaw 2,218 hospital admissions, 2,610 surgeries and 20,823 emergency room visits. The hospital offers many inpatient services, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gastroenterology, endoscopy and oncology. More information about St. Joseph's Westgate is available on the hospital's website.
