Andrea's Closet needs your support
Because of the sterile hospital environment, Andrea's Closet can only accept donations of new, unwrapped toys. Cash donations are also gratefully accepted for the purchase of toys, laptops for kids, and mobile units; to provide financial assistance and burial assistance; and to cover the costs of operation.
Host a toy drive:
Civic groups, social clubs, organizations, and businesses can help by hosting a toy drive. Just put out a collection box and spread the word. It's fun, and Andrea's Closet makes it easy by providing all the support you need.
Host a fundraiser:
If you have a mind for money your group, club, or organization can host a fundraiser. Car washes, bake sales, silent auctions, white elephant sales, penny drives, raffles, even a walk for Andrea's Closet can help generate funds for financial assistance and burial assistance, or to purchase laptops for kids, mobile units, informational materials, administrative necessities and, of course, toys.
Adopt a closet:
If a more lasting commitment is what you're looking for, your group, club, or organization can adopt a closet. Your group would raise funds for the initial opening of the closet, host regular toy drives to keep the closet full, and send members from time to time to restock Andrea's Closet. This option gives your group a sense of ownership over the project and allows for interaction with the children who benefit from your giving. The name of your organization will go right on the closet.
Sponsor a Mobile Unit:
Andrea's Closet's mobile units bring toys to children who are too sick to get out of bed. For a donation of $5,000, you can sponsor a mobile unit and bring smiles to the children who need it most. Your group's name will appear on the unit to let these children know you care.
Donate a vehicle:
Andrea’s Closet can also accept donations in the form of a car, truck, boat, motorcycle, RV, offroad vehicle, watercraft, golf cart, or heavy machinery – running or not. They are able to offer a tax deduction for these donations.
