Cindy is a proud second generation Phoenician, but also has family roots in Texas. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University, she began her career in politics. Eventually Cindy’s passion for the community led her to a profession in nonprofit fundraising. She has held positions at Banner Health Foundation, Hospice of the Valley-Ryan House and the American Red Cross. Most recently she served as the Senior Director of Development for the Arizona State University Foundation, securing funding for the university president’s strategic investment fund.

She has served on several charitable and community boards and committees, such as the America Cancer Society, Crisis Nursery, National Charity League of Phoenix, The Junior League of Phoenix and ASU Women and Philanthropy.

Cindy and her husband, Kelly, enjoying traveling, college football and spending time with their two daughters.
