10K, 5K, 1M and Doggie Trot

The first Laura’s Run was organized in March 2007 by family and friends of Laura Hart Burdick to celebrate her strength and spirit throughout her lung transplant journey. The run has since become an annual event featuring 10K and 5K courses for runners, a 1-mile course for walkers, "Laura's Doggie Trot," dri-fit shirts and medals for all participants, activities for kids, music, runners' brunch and a great variety of silent auction items.

It's a morning of fun for all agesbenefiting patients treated at the Norton Thoracic Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. The race begins and ends lakeside at Tempe Kiwanis Park. Awards ceremony immediately follows. Bring the whole family for a morning supporting St. Joseph's vibrant lung transplant program, restoring life to those in great need. Over the past 13 years, Laura's friends and family--along with event participants--have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for Norton Thoracic Institute.
