Help improve care for all patients
The vision for the Eller Congenital Heart Center is to improve care for all patients with congenital heart disease, including adolescents and adults. To support that vision, The Congenital Heart Foundation was founded to raise funds for this unique center of excellence.
Every gift, whatever the size, contributes to the Eller Congenital Heart Center’s ability to offer hope and healing to its patients and their families. And, because The Congenital Heart Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation, donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
We invite you to partner with The Congenital Heart Foundation in improving care for the most complex heart disorders.
Funding from donors is especially important to help continue and expand clinical and translational research, medical education, and outreach efforts.
Research at the Center will focus on making discoveries in the laboratory that can be applied to patient care, while funds for education will be used to establish fellowships in subspecialty areas of both cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. The Center has already established a fellowship in cardiothoracic intensive care.
Other areas the physicians at the Center would like to develop with help from The Congenital Heart Foundation are:
- A genetics program to categorize the genetic defects of tissue collected at the center
- More surgery suites
- An enhanced catheterization lab.
